IEBD 2026 – Terms of Service / Terms & Conditions
Event: India–Europe Business Day 2026 (“IEBD 2026”)
Event Date: Saturday, 13 June 2026

1. Organizer / Contracting Party (Legal Notice)
These Terms govern the purchase of tickets and participation in IEBD 2026. The legal organizer and contracting party for ticket sales is:

“IEBD – India Europe Business Desk” may be used as the event name/brand and program platform. Ticket purchase contracts are concluded with Europportunity UG (haftungsbeschränkt).



2. Scope and Acceptance
2.1 These Terms apply to all ticket purchases, registrations, and attendance at IEBD 2026.
2.2 By purchasing a ticket and/or attending the event, the attendee (“Participant”) confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.



3. Minimum Age Requirement (18+)
3.1 IEBD 2026 is an adults-only business event. Participation is permitted only for persons who are at least 18 years old on the event date.
3.2 The Organizer may request proof of age (photo ID) at check-in. If proof cannot be provided, admission may be refused without refund, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.



4. Event Format, Program, and Changes
4.1 IEBD 2026 is an in-person event taking place at the venue stated above, unless otherwise communicated by the Organizer.
4.2 The Organizer may make reasonable changes to the event program, schedule, speakers, sessions, or format for organizational, safety, or operational reasons.
4.3 Program changes do not entitle the Participant to a refund, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.



5. Tickets, Prices, VAT, and Payment
5.1 Ticket prices are stated in EUR and are inclusive of 19% German VAT (Umsatzsteuer), unless explicitly stated otherwise.
5.2 A binding contract is formed when payment is successfully completed and a booking confirmation is issued (email or checkout confirmation).
5.3 The Organizer reserves the right to refuse ticket sales at its sole discretion and without giving reasons, including prior to payment confirmation.



6. Right of Admission Reserved; Refusal of Entry; Cancellation of Tickets
6.1 Right of admission (Hausrecht) is reserved with the Organizer and the venue operator. The Organizer may refuse admission or remove any Participant at its discretion.
6.2 The Organizer may also cancel a ticket and/or deny entry without giving reasons, including prior to or at the time of admission.
6.3 If a ticket is cancelled or entry is denied due to Participant fault, including but not limited to breach of these Terms, misconduct, fraud, misuse, unauthorized resale, or safety/security reasons, no refund will be granted.
6.4 If a ticket is cancelled by the Organizer without Participant fault, the Organizer will refund the ticket face value paid to the Organizer (excluding non-refundable third-party payment processing fees, where applicable and permitted by law). Further claims are excluded to the extent permitted by law.
 

7. Ticket Categories and Included Benefits
7.1 Standard Ticket (€30)
Includes:
• Entry to the event for the full day on 13 June 2026
• Access to public main-stage sessions and general networking areas (subject to capacity and safety requirements)

 

7.2 VIP Business Ticket (€300)
Includes everything in the Standard Ticket, plus:
• Invitation to an invite-only pre-event dinner for VIP guests and delegates on 12 June 2026 (venue shared individually; capacity-limited)
• Priority entry to the venue (fast-track check-in)
• Priority seating arrangement (subject to availability and venue layout)
• Complimentary soft drinks during event hours
• One lunch coupon redeemable during the official lunch service window

 

7.3 All benefits are non-transferable (except where explicitly permitted under Section 8), non-exchangeable, not redeemable for cash, and valid only during the event dates and hours.



8. Ticket Transfers (Name Change / Replacement) and Resale Prohibition
8.1 Tickets are personal to the named ticket holder.
8.2 Tickets are non-refundable (see Section 9). However, a name change / replacement attendee is permitted under the following conditions:
• The Participant must request the name change by emailing conference@iebd.eu at least 3 (three) days before the event (no later than 10 June 2026, 23:59 CEST).
• Name change is permitted only once per ticket.
• The Organizer may require full details of the replacement attendee (name and email) and may re-issue the ticket.
8.3 Ticket resale is strictly prohibited. Tickets sold or transferred through unauthorized channels (e.g., resale websites, auctions, scalping) may be cancelled without compensation, and entry may be refused.



9. Refund Policy (Non-Refundable Tickets)
9.1 Tickets are non-refundable in all cases, including but not limited to non-attendance, illness, travel disruption, visa refusal, or scheduling conflicts.
9.2 This policy does not affect any mandatory statutory rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.



10. No Statutory Right of Withdrawal (Consumer Information)
If the Participant is a consumer and purchases online (distance contract), the statutory right of withdrawal typically does not apply to event tickets for leisure services provided on a specific date/time. Therefore, cancellation by withdrawal is excluded to the extent permitted by law.



11. Cancellation, Postponement, and Force Majeure
11.1 The Organizer may postpone, relocate, modify, or cancel the event due to circumstances beyond reasonable control (“Force Majeure”), including but not limited to government restrictions, severe weather, public safety threats, strikes, venue unavailability, or other events that make the event impossible or unreasonable to conduct safely.
11.2 If the event is cancelled by the Organizer and is not rescheduled, the Organizer will refund the ticket face value paid to the Organizer (excluding non-refundable third-party payment processing fees, where applicable and permitted by law).
11.3 If the event is postponed, tickets remain valid for the new date. The Organizer may, at its discretion and subject to mandatory law, offer solutions for Participants who cannot attend the new date.
11.4 The Organizer is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by the Participant, including travel, accommodation, visa fees, loss of earnings, loss of business, or other consequential damages.



12. Health, Safety, and Security
12.1 Participants must comply with all safety instructions issued by the Organizer, venue staff, and security personnel.
12.2 Dangerous items, weapons, illegal substances, and items prohibited by venue policy are not permitted.
12.3 The Organizer may conduct reasonable security checks (e.g., bag checks) as necessary for safety and compliance. Refusal may result in denied entry.



13. Media Notice (Photography / Video) and Rights of Use
13.1 Photographs, audio, and video recordings may be made during the event.
13.2 By attending, the Participant acknowledges that their image and/or voice may appear in event media used for documentation, promotional, marketing, and communication purposes by the Organizer and IEBD across platforms (including website, newsletters, press, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media).
13.3 If a Participant does not wish to appear in close-up identifiable recordings, they should inform the registration desk upon arrival. The Organizer will make reasonable efforts to accommodate; however, the Organizer cannot guarantee exclusion from all background recordings.



14. Data Protection (GDPR) and Privacy Policy
14.1 Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR.
14.2 Personal data may be processed for:
• ticketing and registration,
• access control, security, and event operations,
• communication of event information and updates,
• legal and accounting obligations,
• optional marketing communications (only if separately consented),
• optional sponsor advertising communications (only if separately consented).

15. Communications and Advertising Consent
15.1 The Organizer may send essential event-related communications (e.g., booking confirmation, venue details, schedule updates) to the Participant’s registered contact details.
15.2 Marketing emails/newsletters will be sent only if the Participant provides explicit opt-in consent and can be withdrawn at any time.
15.3 Sponsor advertising material will be sent only if the Participant provides separate explicit opt-in consent and can be withdrawn at any time.



16. Intellectual Property; Recording by Participants
16.1 All event content (including logos, branding, slide decks, videos, and recordings) is protected by intellectual property rights.
16.2 The Organizer may restrict or prohibit recording in specific sessions. Participants must comply with such restrictions.
16.3 Participants may not use the Organizer’s or partners’ branding without written permission.



17. Liability and Limitation of Liability
17.1 The Organizer is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body, or health, and under mandatory statutory liability rules.
17.2 For slight negligence, the Organizer is liable only in the event of breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal duties) and only for foreseeable, typical damages.
17.3 Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent legally permissible.
17.4 The Organizer is not liable for indirect or consequential damages (e.g., lost profit), to the extent legally permissible.
17.5 Participants are responsible for their personal belongings. The Organizer is not liable for loss, theft, or damage of personal property unless caused by the Organizer’s fault as described above.



18. Third-Party Services (Venue, Catering, Sponsors)
18.1 The Organizer may engage third parties for venue services, catering, security, or ticketing operations. The Organizer is not responsible for third-party services unless the Organizer is directly at fault under applicable law.
18.2 Sponsors’ products and services are provided by sponsors; the Organizer is not responsible for sponsor offerings.



19. Consumer Dispute Resolution / ODR

The Organizer is not obliged and does not intend to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board unless required by law.



20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
20.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
20.2 If the Participant is a merchant (Kaufmann), a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Frankfurt am Main. Otherwise, statutory jurisdiction applies.



21. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to the intended economic purpose.
